Bangkok – TCM Corporation Public Company Limited (TCMC) has presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok in recognition of its commitment to environmentally friendly practices. The hotel has chosen to use EcoSoft® carpet tiles under the Carpets Inter brand and actively participated in the “Re3” Take Back Used Carpet Program, which ensures proper and eco-friendly management of expired carpets.
The certificate presentation ceremony took place at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, where Mr. Shyam Bhatter, CEO of TCM Surface, handed the certificate to Mr. Rubel Miah, General Manager of the hotel. The event reflected the strong partnership and shared vision of both organizations in driving sustainable business practices.
This collaboration has helped reduce plastic waste significantly—over 140,250 PET bottles were recycled to produce EcoSoft® carpet backing. Additionally, the hotel supports the Zero Landfill initiative by recycling expired carpets into alternative fuel for the cement industry, contributing to renewable energy production. These efforts align with TCMC’s vision of achieving Zero Waste to Landfill and Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050.
