TCMC Launches “Workplace Initiative for People in Need Across 4 Regions”
On August 20, 2024, TCMC's Product Research and Development team held a creative workshop at the Nonthaburi Home for the Destitute (Pak Kret), introducing innovative ways to repurpose yarn and leftover carpet materials from the company’s production processes. The hands-on activity, focused on transforming the yarn into beautiful carpets, provided an opportunity for participants to improve focus and nurture their emotional well-being. Through the art of weaving, they were able to discover a renewed sense of purpose and accomplishment.
The following day, on August 21, 2024, Carpets Inter welcomed members of the Protection Center for a guided factory tour. The visit offered an insightful look into the carpet manufacturing process and yarn dyeing techniques, allowing participants to see firsthand the origins of the materials they had been working with.

This initiative aims to support the overall well-being and empowerment of individuals at the center, helping them build new skills and generate income through self-sufficient means. It also promotes job creation and skill development by utilizing leftover materials, aligning with TCMC’s BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) strategy to foster sustainable practices in both the community and the environment.
